USA- FoodScience-owned VetriScience recently debuted two new pet supplements, expanding its line of allergy and immune health offerings for dogs.

The launched Immune Plus and Omega Plus supplements target seasonal and environmental allergies, immune function, and skin and coat health in dogs.

We are excited to offer dog owners this lineup of advanced allergy and immune support supplements formulated to help dogs with a variety of allergy symptoms and skin and immune health needs,” said Derek Archambault, vice president of marketing at FoodScience.

These new offerings are especially tapping into a growing market as people tend towards premiumization when it comes to pet-care products.

According to research and analytics firm GlobalData, the pet food market is forecast to reach US$120bn by 2026 and premiumization is one of the key drivers of this expected growth.

Anissa Wolf, research manager for Euromonitor International, provides that about 80% of pet owners in the USA treat their pets as their family members, showing that there is a growing interest for people to treat their pets in a way that ensures their comfort and well-being.

These supplements, like all VetriScience products, are made with effective, multifunctional active ingredients that aim to help dogs feel their best,” Derek added.

According to the company, Immune Plus is a capsule supplement formulated with a blend of vitamins, amino acids, and antioxidants that can help support immune system health and complete dogs’ wellness.

Additionally, the supplement is available in two varieties, one for small dogs and another for large dogs. It can be added to a dog’s food and is safe for dogs of all ages.

Moreover, the supplement could be especially beneficial to senior dogs that need a boost of antioxidants to protect cells from damage.

On the other hand, Omega Plus is a chewable supplement formulated with a blend of fish oil, olive oil, safflower oil, vitamins, omega fatty acids, and amino acids to help support skin and coat health.

According to VetriScience, the supplement helps keep a dog’s fur soft and shiny and can support sensitive skin by restoring hydration.

It is particularly recommended for dogs of all ages and sizes that experience dry and itchy skin, dandruff or flaking, irregular shedding, and a dull or dry coat.

VetriScience also recently launched another supplement similar to Omega Plus, called Allergy Plus and all three are available on most e-commerce platforms.

These new supplements are formulated by veterinarians and made without artificial flavors or synthetic colors.

Moreover, the supplements also boast the National Animal Supplement Council (NASC) quality seal.
