USA- Anchor Ingredients, a specialty ingredients supplier to the North American pet food industry, recently announced the launch of its newest division supporting pet food research and development. 

According to the company, the new Technical Services branch of the business will be dedicated to “providing unbiased and comprehensive support to pet food manufacturers and brands,” according to the company, specifically in the areas of process optimization, quality troubleshooting, and product innovation.

It will offer an array of services, including production process optimization, product quality troubleshooting, ingredient technology support, product development, and formulation expertise, facility and process flow design services, as well as educational seminars and training opportunities. 

According to a statement the company made on LinkedIn, Anchor Ingredients is committed to sharing its expertise and insights to empower manufacturers and brands with the tools they need to excel in an evolving landscape.

With a diverse range of services aimed at optimizing processes, troubleshooting quality issues, and fostering innovation, Anchor Ingredients’ new Technical Services division is set to revolutionize the industry’s approach to challenges and advancements.

According to Anchor Ingredients, Brian Streit has been appointed to lead the Technical Services division as director. 

Brian offers 27 years of pet food production and adjacent industry experience spanning operations, quality control, equipment technology, formulation, and innovation.

According to Anchor Ingredients, part of the reason it has established this new service division is due to the increased complexity of the marketplace. 

The supplier hopes to leverage its ingredient and product development expertise to help brands stay innovative regardless of their operating environments.
