SPAIN- Bioiberica, a prominent global life science company dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of people, animals, and plants, is gearing up to mark its 25th year in the global animal health and nutrient sector.

The company is set to commence a year-long celebration of its milestone at the International Production & Processing Expo (IPPE).

Through various customer and trade events, including IPPE in Atlanta, Georgia, USA, as well as Interzoo and Eurotier in Germany, Bioiberica plans to acknowledge 25 years of significant contributions to the animal health arena.

The celebration aims to highlight the company’s technical expertise and substantial contributions to scientific research that have pushed the boundaries of progress.

Victor Beneito, Animal Nutrition Business Unit Director at Bioiberica, expressed pride in the company’s contributions to supporting partners in animal health and nutrition. He highlighted substantial investments in research, ingredient developments, and collaborations with leading brands worldwide.

In the last five years alone, Bioiberica has published over 50 scientific papers, abstracts, and presentations and collaborated with more than 30 research centers globally.

Beneito emphasized a notable achievement, the discovery of bioactive peptides in Palbio proteins, which promote intestinal cell proliferation and positively modulate microbiome composition, directly impacting animal health and performance.

Flagship solutions beyond nutrition

Bioiberica’s flagship solutions, Palbio hydrolyzed proteins, and Nucleoforce free nucleotides demonstrate a commitment to animal wellness beyond nutrition. Palbio supports intestinal and immune health in young livestock, improving production parameters.

Nucleoforce targets immunity and intestinal health with a high concentration of nucleotides, specifically balanced for each animal species.

In addition to these solutions, Bioiberica provides functional pet food ingredients for joint health, immunity, and skin health through products like Mobilee, Collavant n2, CSbioactive, Nucleoforce Pets, and Dermial Vet.

As Bioiberica envisions the future of animal nutrition and the broader life sciences, sustainability takes center stage. The company has set ambitious targets, including a 30% reduction in greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions before 2030 and achieving climate neutrality by 2050. These initiatives align with Bioiberica’s commitment to One Health, a philosophy that advances health while protecting the environment.

Xavier Garcia, Director of Animal Health and Plant Health Business Units at Bioiberica, expressed excitement about the company’s future in animal health. Aside from sustainability goals, Bioiberica continues to invest heavily in research and product development to break down barriers to progress.

The company has ongoing scientific studies set to be completed this year, with plans to expand the Nucleoforce portfolio and pet food line. Garcia encouraged stakeholders to stay tuned for updates, promising more exciting developments in the pipeline.
