COTE D’IVOIRE—ETG, a global conglomerate with diverse expertise in agricultural inputs, logistics, merchandising and processing, has completed the acquisition of a state-of-the-art fertilizer plant and port operations in Cote d’Ivoire.

This strategic move marks a significant milestone for ETG Inputs Holdco Limited (EIHL), a division of ETG’s Agri Inputs and Chemicals business, solidifying its position as a key player in the regional fertilizer industry.

ETG has evolved into a global entity with a presence in over 45 countries across six continents.

The Group’s diverse portfolio spans various industries, including agricultural inputs, chemicals, logistics, processing, food and food ingredients, energy, metals, technology, and supply chain optimization.

This acquisition is expected to enhance ETG’s capacity to meet the growing agricultural demands in West Africa, a region known for its vast agricultural potential, resource availability, and strategic location.

Ashish Lakhotia, CEO of ETG Agri Inputs and Chemicals, expressed his optimism about the acquisition, adding that the move is anticipated to bolster local agricultural development and regional food security, aligning with ETG’s commitment to sustainable growth.
