LATIN AMERICA- EW Nutrition, a leading German-based provider of functional animal nutrition solutions, has welcomed Gustavo Carlos Tesolin as the new Regional Director for Latin America.
An agricultural engineer by training, Tesolin brings a wealth of international experience in the animal health business, spanning 25 years, with notable roles in organizations such as Novartis, Elanco, and Erber Group.
Gustavo Tesolin is recognized for his diverse leadership roles, demonstrating expertise in commercial operations, driving profit and loss, executing strategies, and placing a special emphasis on team development and geographic expansion throughout his career.
Expressing his enthusiasm about joining EW Nutrition, Tesolin stated, “I am really excited to join a company as innovation-driven and science-focused as EW Nutrition.”
He highlighted the recent launch of Ventar D, a groundbreaking phytogenic designed to enhance animal husbandry results, along with the established brands Pretect D and Activo.
Tesolin is eager to leverage the strong portfolio focused on Gut Health Management, Digestibility, and Feed Quality to strengthen EW Nutrition’s position in the Latin American market.

This appointment follows a series of strategic global hires made by EW Nutrition over the past 18 months, underscoring the company’s commitment to the Latin American market. Gustavo Tesolin is set to relocate to Mexico to oversee and coordinate EW Nutrition’s expansion in various Latin American countries.
The company anticipates that Tesolin’s leadership will contribute significantly to achieving its goals in the region, particularly with his extensive experience and alignment with EW Nutrition’s values of innovation and customer-focused solutions.
In a similar move, EW Nutrition named Jan Vanbrabant as its new chief executive officer (CEO) in September 2023, replacing Michael Gerrits who is heading into retirement after six years leading EW Nutrition.
