UZBEKISTAN – Ortaş Değirmen has officially commissioned a new, state-of-the-art flour factory for Oltın Tegirmon, a leading player in Uzbekistan’s flour sector.

This latest facility, with a production capacity of 400 tonnes per day, is the largest of its kind introduced by the company, significantly surpassing its earlier installations which had capacities of 180 and 250 tonnes per day.

This milestone reinforces Ortaş Değirmen’s pivotal role in Uzbekistan’s flour milling industry. Over the years, Ortaş has been instrumental in the establishment of several major flour mills across the region, showcasing its expertise and commitment to advancing flour production technology.

The new factory is a testament to this ongoing dedication, setting a new benchmark for production scale and quality in the industry.

Oltın Tegirmon, renowned for its premium flour products, aims to leverage this new facility to enhance its product portfolio.

The factory’s advanced design allows for the production of a wide range of flours, including innovative new types and higher-quality variants. This flexibility in production is expected to meet the market’s growing and evolving demands, solidifying Oltın Tegirmon’s position as a market leader.

The factory’s design features cutting-edge steel construction solutions, and the selection of machinery was meticulously handled by Ortaş Değirmen.

A notable highlight of this project is the incorporation of FORTİS brand rollers, which won the prestigious 2023 German Design Award.

These rollers, debuting in Uzbekistan, are engineered to maximize production efficiency and flour quality. The integration of a new-generation PLC system further enhances the factory’s technological capabilities, ensuring precise control and optimization of the production process.

In addition to its technological advancements, the new factory also emphasizes sustainability and efficiency. The incorporation of energy-efficient systems and environmentally friendly practices aligns with global trends towards greener manufacturing processes.

This not only helps reduce the carbon footprint but also ensures the factory’s operations are aligned with modern sustainability standards.
