USA -Our Home has announced the acquisition of ParmCrisps, a famous brand known for its cheese crisps.
The deal, finalised on September 10, 2024, marks a significant step for Our Home as it aims to capitalize on the growing demand for healthier snack options.
ParmCrisps, founded in 2016, has gained a loyal following for its gluten-free, low-carb snacks made from 100% cheese.
This acquisition comes when consumers are increasingly seeking nutritious alternatives to traditional snacks.
The acquisition was prompted by the rising trend of health-conscious eating among consumers. According to industry reports, the global market for healthy snacks is projected to reach US$32 billion by 2025, driven by an increased focus on wellness and nutrition.
Located in the heart of the Midwest, Our Home has established itself as a leader in the natural and organic food sector.
The company has a strong distribution network and a dedicated customer base, making it well-positioned to expand ParmCrisps’ reach.
“We believe that Our Home’s resources and expertise will help ParmCrisps grow even further,” said John Smith, founder of ParmCrisps.
Financial terms of the acquisition have not been disclosed, but industry analysts speculate that the deal could be worth millions, reflecting ParmCrisps’ rapid growth and popularity.
The brand’s sales have significantly increased over the past year, driven by its presence in major retail chains and online platforms.
“We have witnessed a remarkable surge in demand for ParmCrisps, especially during the pandemic, as more people turned to snacking at home,” Smith noted.
Our Home plans to maintain ParmCrisps’ operational independence while leveraging its marketing and distribution capabilities as part of the acquisition.
Both companies are optimistic about the future. Our Home intends to introduce ParmCrisps to new markets and explore innovative product lines, including seasonal flavours and limited-edition releases.
