CANADA- P&H Milling Group, in collaboration with Parrish & Heimbecker, Limited (P&H), has unveiled plans for a transformative expansion at their Hamilton, Ontario facility, signaling a significant stride in bolstering Canadian agriculture and meeting the growing demands of the baking industry.
The forthcoming expansion, slated to commence in March 2024, will witness the establishment of a third flour mill alongside the integration of two additional storage silos.
These silos will play a pivotal role in managing essential feed ingredients such as soy meal and distillers’ dried grains, complementing the wheat processing operations to fortify the flour production capabilities at the site. This strategic initiative solidifies P&H’s position as a premier flour production hub in Hamilton.
The Hamilton facility has emerged as a cornerstone of P&H’s operations since its inception in 2017, marking a significant milestone as Ontario’s first new flour mill in over seven decades.
Building upon this legacy, the facility underwent a doubling of capacity in 2020 with the introduction of a second mill and expanded storage facilities, amplifying wheat processing and receiving capabilities.
