TURKEY- İmas, a publicly traded Turkish machinery manufacturer, has launched a new office in Levent, Istanbul to better cater to its growing demand for grain and feed milling machinery operations.

The company, which has been on the Istanbul Stock Exchange since April 2022,  has been growing with new investments.

Currently based in Konya city, the company has a high capacity and technology production plant and a very experienced existing team.

Established in 1989, İmas has been manufacturing machinery and equipment and supplying high-quality flour and feed mills to operators in more than 100 countries.

The new İmas office is strategically located in the Levent region – the business hub of Istanbul, which has alternative ways of access to other central locations of the city, enabling the İmas team to welcome their valuable visitors and customers in a vibrant atmosphere.

According to the company’s press release, İmas is gearing up to become one of the leading global brands in flour, maize, and feed milling technologies, having a ton of experience from its three decades in the milling equipment industry.

Additionally, the company is expanding its footprint in this industry with a larger team and other upcoming investments.

The launch of the new Istanbul office has seen İmas invest in sales and marketing team members for the new office to serve its customers better.

The main reasons behind launching the new office are to support and strengthen existing team structures, bring new and existing professional teams together, and create a real ‘synergy’ environment in the company,” read the press release.

İmas has also been making considerable investments in its research and development department to improve the quality of its offerings.

In this year’s International Association of Operative Millers’ Annual Conference & Expo in Minneapolis, USA, the company’s Multimilla Roller Mill won a product showcase 2023 innovation award with its new polymer base construction.

This awarded product is an alternative to the steel or cast-iron roller mill chassis construction material developed by the İmas R&D and engineering team.

According to the company, the main advantage of using patented polymeric composites in the roller mill chassis is that they have great vibration resistance, enabling a more reliable operation and extended long-term durability of the machine.
